Winter Slush & Model Bebe

I'm not feeling anywhere near wordy tonight. But I wasn't for my last post either . . . so I feel somewhat obliged to write something.
Sara & I desperately are wanting to make Posie Gets Cozy's afghan. Cayooute? Isn't it? I love those colors.
This week has matched the weather. Hm. Mixture of "Aw! The purty snowflakes!" and "Yuck. Slush."
We are stocked with enough hot chocolate to last us until next winter. *happy sigh*
I think I've had my share of unflattering pictures posted on FB to last me all of 2010. May I please, please remain behind the camera for the rest of the year? Thank you.

I am such an old lady.
I've been quilting this evening - now watching dear Lawrence Welk with two lovely hounds.
There. I was sociable. :)

We still have snow! See?{ February 3 }
Cuddle day with best friend.
First photo - in what feels like months and months - that I can smile pain free! Squee!

Dear Wilson, About your teddy bear . . . { February 5 }
Bebe and I are disgusted with the weather. We are. We are.

Few minutes quilting in a polka dotted world.

  1. Laura, do not post new crochet patterns. Do you realize how many projects I need to finish? :-)

  3. I laughed at "I am such an old lady." When I spend Friday or Saturday nights at my sewing machine (not quilting...haven't tried that yet, although I do want to make one for my bed this year), blasting my 40's music, or watching a black and white movie, I find myself thinking exactly that.

  5. Great pictures!

    I've always wanted to learn how to sew, just the simple basics! Somehow it always out smarts me! One day.

  6. Oh, I absolutely <3 Lawrence Welk! I got to watch it two weeks in a row and it was heavenly! (And I'm not even *peeking* at the crochet pattern...!) Glad you can smile pain-free, again!
