Doorbells and Sleigh bells

Yesterday was my 20th birthday! Eepers, that sure sounds old for me, moi.
Originally, I thought it would be fun to have a Roaring 20's party for my 20th. But alas for the lack of time . . .
So Wednesday I was in a rather bummers mood. Not tremendously excited about the next day. Not really wanting to no longer be a 'teen something'. Then I over baked my cake . . . it was just a bummers day.
Sarie convinced me to attempt to staying up until midnight to ring in my birthday. So we worked on some craftie gifts . . . then settled down to watch a movie.
Then almost at exactly midnight someone knocked at the door! AH! My goodness! I love surprises. Especially when in involved a visit from older sissy Stacey, niecekins and nephews! They sang Happy Birthday to me, brought me cake and a rose . . . it was oh so sweet.

So very touched.

The next morning there was still snow left ~YAY! After a glorious breakfast, by Sarie & Mommy . . . we went sledding. On dog bowls. It was hilarious! ;)

~ Thus starts the 20th year of my life. ~
I'm excited.

It's a whipped cream day!

We woke up to a gorgeous, gorgeous snow this morning! It always surprises me how much I love snow in our townie life. But I absolutely adore our street in the snow! All of the chimneys lined in a row ~ it's very picturesque. Then of course the snow~men start to line up as well . . . then you wait in suspense to see who's snow~man's head is going to fall off first. hehe
It's fun being able to hear random squeals of delight all the way down the street.
I love snow at home.

It was Judie's first snow with us! She is far from impressed. Disgusted if anything. Ran inside ASAP. ;) Bebe (being the old pro that she is . . .) tried her bestest to motivate her into trying to play in it. No luck. But they're inside now, sweaters on, fambly close by . . . all is good with the world.
Except we are missing Wilson's first snow. *weeps* Daddy is going to attempt to take a photo during their lunch break. Shall be amusing. ;)

Happy Hanukkah!

Blessed are the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance. Psalms 89:15
Gorgeous Ward - amongst a twinkle light filled living room.

No time to make the post I wanted to . . . but tomorrow happens to be the last night . . . so, in fear of a Hanukkah post vanishing like my Thanksgiving post (RIP) . . .
Happy Hanukkah Everybody! *blows kisses*
