Little Bitsy

This is Little Bitsy!
A few months ago Little Bitsy was hit by a car and almost lost her leg. Like many of our local dogs that have found themselves in a fix - Miss Evelyn Bridges came to her rescue. (Miss Evelyn happens to be the person who transported our Judie to us) Little Bitsy now lives happily safe and sound with a family of her very own ~ but there are so many more like Little Bitsy . . .

Any money that Little Bitsy wins will go toward helping animal rescue efforts in Transylvania County.

Please, please, please . .

I returneth

I would first like to thank all of you for your sweet comments on my last post . . . it's impossible to word how very, very much they meant to me. Since Annie was never adopted . . . we are considering her one of our puppies. We all loved her so very much! She was the #1 favorite from the beginning. And it honestly felt like we were her family all along.

Sending a huge Thank You for your prayers!!! The other puppies are doing well. ZoZo began to show signs of Parvo the next Friday. After a very long week ~ of fighting this very awful disease . . . very, very happy hearts. Because ZoZo made it. !!!!!! He is getting healthier and healthier everyday and living with a family of his very own. And is now called Bailey. A very happy Bailey he is.
(Bailey & his new "Mommy" . . . are they a cute pair??)

This has not been a good week . . .

On Monday, Sara and I noticed that our Annie (see post below) was not acting her usual self. Not sick - just not her normal hyper self. So off to the vet we went . . . where we found out that our dear Annie was Parvo Positive. The past few days have been so emotionally exhausting . . . Sarie and I stayed up through the night giving her liquids and everything that we had read to do. But she died yesterday at the vets office between Sara & the vets arms.

Oh my goodness we love that puppy. The first time we saw her at the shelter, she took our breath away with her adorable charm ~ and her personality! Ah! She was hilarious. Annie fought such a fight to stay here ~ and we miss her so, so very much.

The other two girls have been adopted and seem to be doing well. ZoZo ia the only one still here . . . so far no signs of parvo. Please pray that it remains like this.
