Eli

My Eli passed away late last night . . .
I missed his bunny kisses so much this morning. He was the sweetest most lovable darling! The cherry on top of everyday. We are honored to live with him for eight happy years . . .

Eli fit all of my 'bunny dreams'. Just perfectly! When we went to go pick him out . . . the man asked me what type of bunny I wanted. "Just a nice bunny". We walked through and looked at several very adorable ones. But Eli was without question the bunny for us. We fell for him the instant he greeted us. Standing on his back paws and his little white pop belly. *melts* His chubby little face, his most beautiful coat and charming personality.

Before we left . . . I asked the man if Eli had a name. "Um . . . no. But he has a tattoo!" (Eli was semi fired from the show biz . . . their loss.) He lifted Eli's ear and read N.I.C.E. Although he was much more than just a n.i.c.e bunny. So very much more.

Bunny Snuggles

DSC00388DSC00390

I have been such a lazy blogger the past few weeks ~ oy. But my arms have been rather full. Literally! My darling, most wonderful Eli is a very sick bunny this week. Which is a rather scary thing when the darling, most wonderful Eli is ten years of age. That is rather old for a bunny with his past.

He is completely limp except for an occasional bunny kiss or nudge . . . and is making very happy bunny noises. He is looking much better this morning ~ so I'm hoping for the best.

Abby refused to leave his side yesterday. They are the bestest of friends. Yes, very full arms . . hard to type. ;)

This is my 100th post!

{ Can't wait until we are done organizing the craft room!!! }

Quilts are such strange things . . . and quite resistant to planning. Mine are anyway. They never turn out like I plan or imagine. It's hilarious! But they always turn out what I wanted and what fits my present state of mind. I have fun . . .

I don't have all of my fabric for my new quilt yet. But I'm really lovin' what I have so far! Only three fabric have been kicked out of the little pile. Just too yellow . . . I've learned my lesson. Next time I need yellow fabric ~ buy. it. in. person. hehe. The purples are perfect.

Sketched the pattern and colored last night. hehe. Just so I could see if I even wanted yellow . . . I do! I do! If my quitl looks anything like my little sketch . . . haha . . . I will be most happy.

Lovely and Updately

Stayed up until midnight making cupcakes ♥
Started officially organizing our craft room.
It's warm enough to walk places today.
Still might get one more "good" snow this weekend.
I just got kisses from a really cute bunny.
Exciting new fabric has been coming in the mail. For Moi.
Plan on watching some good costume dramas with my sissy.
Tea included.

To: Judie's Fans: Judie, Jude went to the vets office this morning. And I do mean morning. *yawns*. She'll be home in a few days. Yay! We miss her dearly already. I'm afraid we have gotten very used to our little two hound life. Can't wait for her to be heart worm free. She was feeling really bad this weekend . . . but snuggly. Sweet baby.

Of fabric related things . . .

I've been planning and ordering fabric for my 2009 quilt ~ sooo excited! I was so determined during New Years not to quilt this year. It's pretty pricey. And I'm supposed to be saving up for Photoshop for the Mac. . . alas. I just couldn't do it. Life would be so dull quiltless. I feel so idle while watching movies. 'Summer Under The Stars' would hardly exist if I didn't hand quilt this summer. I miss long hours in the craft room jammin' to Bing Crosby (You can to0 jam to Bing!!!). Besides, I love the first of spring being filled with getting random fat quarters in the mail. lol. Nothing quite so happy!

Let it be written . . . Gypsy style quilting here I come! And I couldn't possibly be more nerdishly excited. w00t!

While on the subject I need to point your direction towards a fab-tab-u-lous fat quarter giveaway!! Over at A Quilt is Nice. While you're there be sure to explore the rest of the blog ~ it's wonderfully inspiring.

Also, I highly recommend Daffodil Hill Fabrics. She has fantastic stuff and is great to work with!

I love these two photos. Just love them.
You know, I'm not a huge fan of Paul Newman's movies. But I have a huge amount of respect for his real life character. Just Paul Newman. I officially forgive him for not reading my letter. hehe.

Camera-less

I don't post much when I'm camera-less ~ tis sad. Sara is out of state this week and since she's doing Project 365 ~ she gets first dibs. :) Makes sense. She also as that really, really cute model named Blake.

Audrey

If I did have the camera, I would be posting about the snazzy new quilt I made for Bebe. Stop laughing! It won't sound half so silly once I post about it ~ I don't think. I shall leave you with a Coming Soooon . . . on that one.

I'm in a very crafty mood today. But on hold for a while on all my current projects and also sketchbook-less. Must.go.to.craft.store.
